Bryce Canyon 500: Where Desert Dreams Meet Real Work

You know that stretch of Utah — the one that looks like another planet, where red rock meets blue sky and every sunset feels like a private show? That’s where Bryce Canyon 500 sits.
Right off Scenic Byway 12 (yes, that Byway 12 — rated one of the top ten drives in the U.S.), this 420-acre wonderland is just 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon and 30 minutes from Escalante. The kind of place you pull over just to breathe it all in.

Right now, it’s home to 40 glamping units that bring in around $150K a year in rentals, with permits ready for 16 permanent structures. So yeah — it’s working land. But it’s also dreaming land.

The Next Chapter: Building More Than a Destination

The next phase of Bryce Canyon 500 isn’t about adding another Instagrammable tent. It’s about asking a bigger question: What if we could reimagine how we live — and who we live it with?

That’s why we’re bringing in 15 Gen Z Fellows, alongside artists in residence and an award-winning architect, to do something rare: design and build housing and community from the ground up — literally. Not just for aesthetics, but for social repair. Because in a world obsessed with “the next big thing,” we’re more interested in building what lasts.

Phase III: Returning the Land to the Hands That Built It

Here’s where things get really special. The third phase of Bryce Canyon 500 is about creating shared value — literally. Through an employee and community ownership program, our Fellows and local partners will have the opportunity to earn a stake in what they’ve helped create.

Think of it as a long-term giveback model: as the fund succeeds, the land gradually returns to the people who care for it most — the builders, artists, and dreamers who made it thrive. It’s purpose meeting performance, and we’re here for both.

A New Kind of Place, A New Kind of Purpose

Bryce Canyon 500 isn’t a resort. It’s not just another hospitality play. It’s an experiment in living with intention — where art meets architecture, where community meets the canyon, and where people get their hands dirty making something real.

So yeah, we’re out here in the high desert with big dreams, dusty boots, and a few well-loved tents. But this? This is just the start.

Welcome to Bryce Canyon 500 — where 500 Acres turns land into life.
